No. Rides are grouped by pace, not engine size. Beginner routes are shorter and slower; tourer routes are longer with faster average speeds. You pick the group that matches your riding.
Every ride has a lead and a sweep rider, so nobody gets left behind or pushed to keep up. First-timers are common, not the exception.
Yes, most rides welcome pillions. Ride pages note when a route is rider-only for safety reasons, such as off-road or high-altitude passes.
